This is a circa 1920-30, pair of Art Deco slip shade sconces made by the Gill Company. The back plates are iron with a restored polychrome finish and have the more unusual configuration with the socket and bulb at the top end of the fixture. The frosted glass slip shades have a very stylized Art Deco design and are in very good condition. Each wall light fixture has an 8 1/2" height, a 6 1/2" width, and projects 6 1/2" from the wall. the sconces have been rewired and also have functioning base switches.
