This is a pair of Art Deco slip shade sconces manufactured by Virden Lighting Co., circa 1930. The fixture back plates are aluminum with a restored polychrome finish: the glass slip shades are frosted amber. Each light fixture has a 12" height, a width of 6 1/2", and projects 4 1/2" from the wall. Virden Co. called this style of light the Rayburn Pattern.
