This is a mid-century wall sconce distributed by Forecast Lighting, a division of Lightolier. The sconce has 2 light bulbs (2 tube bulbs will be provided). The back plate that attaches to the wall is 14" x 5". The back plate has 2 curved chrome pieces that hold a double row of glass rods - 45 in total. The size of the light fixture with the glass rods in place is 18" x 7", and projects 5" from the wall. The 18" glass rods are alternating frosted and clear glass. Included is a picture of the original labels before the metal was cleaned. Many internet sites refer to this style of fixture as the "Sciolari Glass Rod" as he was a designer for Lightolier. The fixture is in very good condition--all glass rods are intact as well as the chrome-- and it has been rewired. An age-related problem identified is some of the rubber-type rings or gaskets securing the rods in the curved chrome pieces have dried causing a few of the rods to slip if the fixture were installed in a vertical position. However this fixture would be beautiful when installed horizontally over a bathroom mirror, providing ample light and "Hollywood" glamour. There are 2 fixtures available--the price is for one fixture. Exact shipping costs are calculated at purchase.
