This is a pair of circa 1920-30, wall light fixtures manufactured by Max Schaffer Co. in New York. The sconce back plates are iron with a restored polychrome finish; the glass slip shades are embossed, frosted amber. Each light fixture has a 9" height, a width of 5 1/4", and projects 4" from the wall. The Art Deco shades are unusual due to the glass back rather than an open shade as more commonly found. The sconces are very well-made and are in very good condition. They have been rewired and have functioning base switches. Exact shipping costs are calculated at purchase. A second pair of Max Schaffer sconces that have frosted/clear slip shades are also available.
