This is a circa 1890-1900, cast brass desk lamp with two caramel slag glass shades. The lamp is signed, R.W. & Co. The lamp has a 14 pound weight and stands 21 1/2" in height; the arm with the shades can be raised or lowered; the width is 19 1/2"; the base is 7" square and each shade is 6 3/4" square. The lamp has an external cord which is commonly found in early electric lighting. All components of the lamp are heavy cast brass, including the shades.
