This is a dated 1918 adjustable, swing arm wall sconce manufactured by Faries. Faries was known for many styles of industrial light fixtures. The 4 piece arm is brass with a bronze patina and has 2 ratchets to permit exact positioning of the light and also allow it to be moved close to the wall and out of the way. The glass shade is a green cased cone shade with a 6" height and 7 1/4" diameter open end--it is from the same period. The brass arm is dated 1918; the 2 1/4" Uno shade holder is dated 1912; the turn-key sockets are early Arrows. The lamp projects from 10" to 16" from the wall, dependent on the adjustment of the swivels. The condition is very good--it is ready for installation. Exact shipping costs are calculated at purchase. Two matching sconces are available.
