This is a signed, "Emeralite", dated 1916, telescoping desk lamp or wall sconce. It has 3 separate ratchets to tilt the shade up/down, to adjust the angle of the arm near the base, and to telescope or lengthen the arm. The length as photographed extends 24" from the center of the 4 1/2" square base. The shortest length is 20". The base can be either wall-mounted or mounted on a desk or table. The light has been rewired and will be sold with a standard base size tube light bulb. The green cased glass shade is 9" x 5" x 5" and is in excellent condition.
