This is a circa 1850, flint glass whale oil lamp that is complete with a pewter camphene burner and caps. The lamp stands 9 5/8" to the top of the collar and 11 5/8" to the top of the burner. It has a hexagonal base with a 4 1/2" diameter. The bottom of the base is polished glass and appears to have had very little use. The pattern on the font looks like a design with fleur de leis. The condition is very good.
