This is a milk glass kerosene oil lamp that is pictured in Smith's Miniature Lamps book #1, on page 82. It has a pewter pedestal base and matching ribbed milk glass font and shade. The lamp measures 7 3/4" in height and 8 3/4" to the top of the glass chimney. It has an acorn burner and an old wick. This miniature lamp is circa 1880. There are no chips or cracks to the glass but some roughness to the bottom of the shade which is probably original. There is a small amount of corrosion to the pewter collar and base. The burner and tripod have darkened with age but are functioning. I will ship either Priority Flat Rate of UPS Ground.
