This sensational creamer & covered sugar set was made by the Jefferson Glass Co., circa 1904. Jefferson called this pattern "Jefferson #251", aka "Idyll". This is an extremely popular and sought-after pattern with it's stunning details and beaded swirls - simply breathtaking in this brilliant blue glass, all highlighted in shiny gold! The covered sugar bowl measures 7 inches tall with lid x 4 1/2 inches wide. The cream pitcher measures 5 inches tall x 5 1/4 inches across including the handle. This set is in fabulous condition for it's age, though not perfect. The gold is amazing, with practically no wear! The glass is bright and sparkling! The sugar has one, very tiny, nearly undetectable chip/flake on the top rim. The creamer has a very tiny knick on the top rim, as well, and also, a 1/8 inch chip on the base, which is also hard to see. This is a truly remarkable set, in a gorgeous eapg pattern! You will not be disappointed, and I guarantee expert packing for a safe arrival to your door!
