This marvelous, eapg master salt dish, with a fabulous filigree design in sterling silver overlay was made by the Westmoreland Glass Company, circa 1910. This is their "Capitol" pattern, aka "Filigree". The shiny sterling silver overlay is outstanding on this piece! Measuring 2 inches high x 2 3/8 inch across the rim, it is in Amazing condition, with only a couple tiny, nearly undetectable, pinpoint size 'fleabites' on the rim! There is also a bit of extra silver in some spots, from time of manufacture, of course! *Shown in "5000 Master Salts", by Wm. Heacock, on page 196. This is a beautiful, and unusual, master salt for your collection!
