This fabulous Victorian glass buttermilk goblet, or open sugar, is the eapg pattern called "Bleeding Heart" (original manufacturers name was "King no. 85 floral") made by King, Son & Co., circa 1875! This is a beautiful floral pattern with delightfully, amazing details! This lovely antique goblet measures 4 1/2 inches tall x 4 inches across the rim. In Very Good condition with no chips or cracks, the glass is clear and bright; there are some utensil scratches inside the bowl which are mostly seen when held up to the light. Expect the usual charming characteristics of Victorian era glass, ie. occasional bubbles, surface annealing lines, tiny bits of ash, etc. This old glass glows a lovely yellow-green under uv light to further verify age! A very special gem for any pattern glass collector, or a great piece to start with!
