This vintage, mid-century glass table set is the "Provincial" pattern made Imperial Glass, or, the "Whirlpool" pattern made by Heisey Glass Co. This is a great retro thumbprint design in an avocado green color, called "Verde" by Heisey. The creamer and sugar are marked with the Heisey diamond H trademark, and measure 3 1/4 inches tall. The ruffled compote measures 4 inches tall x 6 inches across. All three pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or damage.
*The "Provincial" pattern made by Imperial Glass is the reissue of an A. H. Heisey & Co. glass pattern. The pattern was originally called "Whirlpool" when it was introduced by Heisey about 1938. Heisey Glass company closed in 1957 and Imperial Glass bought many of their molds. Some Heisey patterns were then made by Imperial into the 1970's. After 1968, Imperial stopped using the Heisey diamond H trademark, however.
