This charming little eapg emerald green sauce dish, or berry bowl, with shiny gold highlights on the feet and beaded details, is the pattern called "Swirled Columns" or “Beaded Swirl”, made by George Duncan and Sons, circa 1891. It is in good condition, with some wear to the gold trim, light surface scratches and minor roughness on the curled "feet" - all consistent with age. (Do expect the usual characteristics of Victorian era glass, ie. surface annealing lines, occasional tiny bubbles, etc.) Measures 1 3/4 inches tall X 4 1/8 inch wide. This is a fabulous pattern to collect, and now, you can add this sweet little bowl to your berry set!
