This Victorian milk glass syrup pitcher is the "Alba" pattern made by the Dithridge Glass Co., circa 1894. This detailed, honeycomb pattern pitcher measures 6 3/8 inches tall x 4 inches wide at the base. The gorgeous, colorful, hand-painted floral decoration is in excellent condition! The glass is free of chips or cracks, though, there are some fine "annealing" lines on the handle - these are fairly common on these antique syrup handles, and were formed as the glass cooled - they are not cracks or damage, but have been there since the time of manufacture. The original top has some plating loss, as expected, but, the hinge works well. This is quite a remarkable example of Victorian decorated milk glass for your collection - you will not be disappointed! It will be expertly packed to ensure safe arrival at your door!
