What a delightful, Hand-painted antique Nippon porcelain 'hot chocolate' cup and saucer set! This delicate, thin porcelain is beautifully decorated with pastel pink shaded blooms, sweeping green foliage, and raised white enameled details - gorgeous! The cup is Stamped on the bottom: "The Jonroth Studios, Hand painted, Nippon" - this mark dates to between 1894 - 1921. The saucer is simply marked in green raised letters 'Japan'. The cup measures nearly 4 inches tall X 3 inches across the rim, and the saucer measures 5 1/2 inches across. In Very good Condition with some rough edges and typical - though Quite Charming imperfections of antique porcelain that only add much CharaCter - but no significant damage! This Nippon set may be a possible 'marriage' but, if so, they certainly 'belong' together - it is a perfect union!
