This gorgeous, antique glass pitcher is the eapg pattern called 'Feathered Ovals' , circa 1903. This sparkling pitcher is crystal clear, high quality glass with an outstanding, detailed pattern featuring dramatic feathery fan shapes among large diamond-point sectioned squares, resting an a round collared base. This large Early American pattern glass water pitcher measures 8 1/2 inches tall X 7 1/2 inches from tip of the pour spout to handle's edge. In Very Good condition with a bit of roughness on the base edges/seams and the usual characteristics of the Victorian era glass making process - ie. tiny bubbles, 'straw' marks, seam mold lines, etc. The maker of this 'Feathered Ovals' pattern is yet unknown, however, it is Very similar to the Cambridge Glass Co. 'Nearcut' pattern #2579 made around the same time period. This lovely, old glass glows a strong yellow-green under uv blacklight to further verify age. An amaZing antique pitcher with many uses! (These antique pitchers make stunning flower vases!)
