This is a charming antiQue, Victorian opaque milk glass pin tray in a FabuLouS glowing shade of true SKY blue! It is a Lovely, curvy hour-glass form with fancy scalloped edges of fiery opal glass! A bit of gold painted highlights remain around the scalloped edge, as well. Most likely made by the largest producers of opaque milk glass items of this type during the late 1800's, or early 1900's - Gillinder or Dithridge Glass. Measuring 5 inches X 3 inches X 3/4 inches high, it has a shallow center 'bowl' space to hold your tiny treasures, or whatever you wish, and it sits on a raised ring base. It is marked only with the number '68'. In Excellent condition for it's age, with No chips or cracks, merely a single 'straw mark' on the bottom from the Victorian era glass manufacture process, and a very tiny bit of roughness on the edge of the raised bottom base underneath. A Delightful piece of antique milk glass with endless possibilities as a UniQue Decoration for your home!
