This LoVely Antique Eapg ( Early American Pattern Glass) Pedestal Cake, or pastry Plate / Stand / Salver was Manufactured by Bryce, Higbee and Co., circa 1905. This splendid, crystal clear, eapg glass pattern is called 'Sheaf & Diamonds', and features diamond block squares with sunburst type 'rays' - On a 4 inch solid glass pedestal stem with a sWeeT scalloped, raised rim. Measures 9 1/4 inches across X 4 inches high. In Very Good Condition with No chips or cracks, just the typical antique glass manufacturing characteristics, ie. minor annealing lines on the surface (straw marks), an occasional tiny bubble, and very slight mold-line roughness, there are also a few light utensil marks from use, consistent with age (magnified in the photos!) Fluoresces a strong yellow-green under uv blacklight, as it should! A Really BeauTiFuL Victorian cake Salver with many uses!
