Co-Operative / Cooperative Flint Glass Company of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, produced this Eapg toothpick holder in 1891. This Antique Pressed Glass / Eapg Pattern toothpick holder is called Columbia, a.k.a. "Co-op's Columbia". An outstanding pressed glass pattern - with 8 vertical panels separated by zippered ribs, four large 'bullseye' around the center, a scalloped rim, and a fancy pressed star design bottom. This GrEaT little toothpick measures 2 1/2 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches across the scalloped rim X 1 1/2 inches across the starred base. In VERY GOOD condition - NO chips or cracks, just minor age wear and the usual 'wrinkles' ( straw marks, or annealing lines) in the glass, typical of glass from this era - Gives it Tons of cHaRaCteR! Also - Has a strong yellow-green fluorescence under uv blacklight as further proof of age. ~~ Just A SuPeR addition to your toothpick collection!
