This antiQue custard glass spooner is the 'Winged Scroll' pattern introduced by Heisey Glass in 1898. This popular, Victorian glass Heisey pattern was produced until 1904, and was not marked with the 'Diamond H' trademark. This creamy yellow 'custard' color glass was called 'ivorina verde' by Heisey, and has a Very bright green fluorescence under uv blacklight! A Quite collectible Heisey Glass pattern - this Winged scroll spooner measures 3 1/2 inches high X 3 3/8 inches across the scalloped top rim X 6 inches across the middle with handles included X 2 5/8 inches across the bottom ring base. ( The sugar bowl in this pattern is similar, but this is definitely the spoon holder) In excellent condition with No chips or cracks, just expected wear to the painted highlights. A lovely Heisey antique treasure!
