This lovely antique Eapg Custard Glass open Sugar bowl was made by Heisey Glass, circa 1896-1899. It is Heisey's No.1200 'Cut Block' pattern. This pretty souvenir piece is beautifully Hand-Painted with delicate red rose bud sprays, the top rim is nicely scalloped and the detailed band around the lower portion consists of a Diamond Point and Squares pattern filled with Fine Cut. This antique custard glass open Sugar bowl measures 2 3/4 inches tall x 3 inches across the top rim - It is in Excellent Condition with NO chips or fleabites! The hand-painted details are in Very good condition also - with some expected wear to the gold paint around the rim, consistent with age. This is an ivory, yellow green colored Victorian 'custard' glass, and it gLoWs brightly under UV blacklight! This piece is unmarked, since 'Cut Block' was one of several early Heisey patterns that were never marked with the Heisey diamond 'H' trademark. A very sWeEt antique Heisey custard Glass souvenir!
