Offered for your consideration is a unique and lovely chased locket from Birmingham hallmarked 1890. It is a mourning locket since the Lilies depicted are associated with loss. The maker of this piece is Henry Walker.
The locket is a single lens piece which has a detailed flowers on the front and a lens for hair or a picture and all the hallmarks on the back. There is one ding on the back but otherwise in very good condition for its age.
The locket is 10.4 grams and is suspended on a 15 3/4" Rolo chain which has a secure clasp and is 2 mm wide. The locket is nice size at 2" with the substantial bale by 1 1/4".
