This was a useful little piece in the early 1900's for a stylish woman on a night out. This is a Sterling purse that holds a few coins, cigarettes cards and a mirror and often a powder puff.
The purse is 3" by 2 1/4" with a 5" double chain. The piece weighs 68.7 grams and is in very good estate condition with some mild scratches and a shallow crease on the back. It is hallmarked WHSCO and Sterling. This is a piece made by Saart from Massachusetts.
