I am currently having a renewed fascination with the Pink stone. May it be Tourmaline or a natural untreated Pink Sapphire the color is captivating. Here you have in an estate Platinum setting from Jeff Cooper with a 2 CT Pink Sapphire. He is a noted New York Jewelry designer.
The ring is size 5.25 and weighs 6.7 grams. It can be sized by your local jeweler if necessary. The stone is loaf cut with such vibrant color and is large enough to command attention.
The ring is in excellent estate condition. The stone has a side loss which I have included in the pictures. The loss is unseen when the ring is on as the side of your finger closes over it. This is the kind of problem where the stone can be recut with minimal loss of carat weight by a master stone cutter.
True natural untreated Sapphires are highly sought after and have great value. I have considered the loss on the stone in the price. But this ring has so much going for it and is in a much more reasonable price band as it is in the secondary market.
