This is a lovely Pietra Dura Brooch. It is large at 2 1/4" by 1 7/8". It has a "T" bar and "C" clasp. It has no hallmark so it has been acid tested to guarantee fineness as 14K.
The Calla Lily is a symbol of loss and mourning. It has been beautifully depicted here in this Pietra Dura Brooch. There are little flowers with seed pearls which embellish the surround and this would be a prized treasure as it is already @ 100 years old.
