Offered for your consideration a European Silver box of @800 silver, a pendant which opens as a box. The flowers on this box pendant are so beautifully realized and the box is so grand. It could have been part of a chatelaine or used as a rogue or vinaigrette.

The pendant has a secure jump ring to run a chain or ribbon through. It is 40.2 grams in weight and a symmetrical 1 7/8" by 1 7/8". The condition overall is stellar but there are three shallow dents two at the corners of the top and one on the front of the box.

You will note some wear to the gilt, but for its age it is a wonderful object. It has been acid tested to guarantee its fineness.
