I am often drawn to jewels which are bold but have simplicity of line.
Here is a grand 18K gold Carnelian ring which is gorgeous.

It is 19.7 grams in weight and size 7.25. But I think that the textured detail on the shank makes the ring. Solid, gorgeous deep hue to the gold and a lovely complimentary Carnelian stone - wow.

This is an estate ring, but is in very good condition. Mild wear to the back of the shank but otherwise perfect! Hallmarked 750 for 18K and XX. Bold enough for either gender.
