1930-40's Du Jay Bracelet
I don't know where to start with this beautiful bracelet except to say that it is F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S! It was designed sometime in the mid-1930's to 1940's by Dujay, who according to Roberto Bruniati was a "small company with a limited top-notch production". Most of their pieces were not signed but I have seen a few that have been....mostly rings and a few pins. I was able to secure this bracelet from a well known Du Jay collector and am certain of its authenticity.
The quality of the workmanship is with equal. Not only is the rhodium plating thick and lustrous, but you can see in the last 2 pictures the attention to detail in the closure. It is crafted so that you cannot see the clasp once it is closed. The stones are still bright and sparkling and it measures 8" long and is 1.75" wide. I never wore it and it looks like no one before me did either.
This is a rare find and may be the only one out there like it.
