This set is from the late 1940's and designed by Ralph DeRosa, whose designs are becoming increasingly harder to find. Both pieces are enameling on gold plated metal with rhinestone accents. There are tiny flecks of enamel wear on the bracelet and some gold wear on the back, both mostly on the clasp. The enameling and plating on the necklace is excellent and appears as if it was never worn. Neither piece is signed but the design is well known to be DeRosa. The necklace measures 16.5" long and the drop on the center motif is 2.5". The bracelet is 7.25" long and 1.75 at it's widest point.
A collection of rare and hard to find vintage jewelry and collectibles.
