Sterling Coro Craft Jay Bird Duette
When I looked up this duette in Roberto Brunialti's book, I found that he called it the "Blue Jay Duette"......but these birds aren't blue so I'll just call it the "Jay Bird Duette".
It was patented in 1942 and is made of sterling vermeil with enameling and accented with crystals. The pin is quite weighty and the birds make a handsome pair. Check out all of the pictures to see how they work.
When the birds are together on the duette frame, the pin measures 2.25" at the widest and is a little over 3" tall. Each bird is about 1" wide and 2.75" tall. Only one of the birds has the CoroCraft signature plate but I have found that to be common with the duettes.
This duette is in excellent vintage condition.
