Antique French enamel and green glass cabochon bracelet. From the 1870s-1880s period this late Victorian bracelet is a fine example of old European craftsmanship. The cuff is 1" wide and is composed of hand made filigree flowers and scrolls. The filigree work is raised up against the solid cuff back. The bracelet is hand crafted solid copper and the ends of the cuffs have old intricate stamped patterns. The focal area is gold gilt brass and the oval green glass cabochon is old French swirl glass. The starburst flowers are cobalt enamel and there are bezel set cobalt, purple, and amber faceted crystals. Notice how the bezels around the green glass and the crystals are all custom made. The bracelet is in exceptional condition and is all original. It is not signed, but I am very confident of a French background. This style of cuff will fit any size wrist.
