Antique Victorian simulated sapphire necklace. This nice necklace has some deep history being from the early 1900s Victorian period. This is evident by just looking at the piece. It has a natural patina but is still as elegant and gorgeous as the day it was made. This piece is comprised of very old silver toned metal for the chain. This chain connects to some excellent silver gilt brass links that have a filigree design on them and also contain rectangular sapphire colored glass stones that look amazing. There are three of these links along with two small silver gilt brass links with beautiful cloudy white stones set within them. This necklace is fastened with a perfect working spring ring clasp that holds great. The necklace measures 15 1/2" long with the large links measuring 3/4" long by 1 1/4" wide. A fantastic piece that does not have a signature but you would be lucky to find a jeweler that signed back in those days. A great early 1900s Victorian sapphire glass and silver gilt brass necklace.
