Vintage McClelland Barclay chrome and sapphire glass necklace. The necklace is crafted with chrome metal links locked together and leading down to two sections of five white rhinestones pave set in silver tone metal strips. These pieces connect to the centerpiece which is adorned with two small sapphire glass emerald cuts prong set in silver tone metal foundations which are screwed onto the chrome base. In the middle of the centerpiece is a large emerald cut sapphire stone and a sapphire glass pear cut both of which are prong set in silver tone metal and surrounded by small pave and bezel set white rhinestones. The necklace is sealed with a fold over clasp that holds very securely. The back of the centerpiece is signed "McClelland Barclay" in noticeable inscription and the necklace measures 15" long with the centerpiece measuring 2" in width. This piece is in excellent condition as it has no missing stones or scratches which is very good for an item made between 1935 and 1943.
