Vintage polyethylene cowboy pin. This cowboy pin is composed of a light pastel colored polyethylene material which was any early form of plastic. The pink head is topped with a yellow cowboy hat and has hand painted eyes, nose, and lips. The cowboy has a light blue scarf around it's neck and a flat grey colored polyethylene for the body and legs. Brass metal rings attach the arms and legs to the body. The arm part is pink plastic with small yellow colored balls for hands. Large pink balls make up the feet and pink and yellow balls are attached to the leg region. This piece has a pin clasp that holds very tightly and the cowboy measures 4 1/2" long by 2" wide. This item is a book piece that is featured in "Warman's Jewelry" by Christie Romero on page 153. This item is in excellent condition and such a unique item with it's playful appeal that would make an excellent gift and/or collector's item.
