Elizabeth Taylor for Avon Hearts in Tandem pin with imitation pearls. This pin comes from Liz Taylor's love of horses which she shared with her daughter Liza Todd Tivey who actually helped in creating this piece with Taylor. The creation was made with Liza's intention to celebrate Elizabeth Taylor's first major film "National Velvet" which shows her affection for these amazing creatures. The piece is set in a fine gold tone metal base which forms two beautiful horses set back to back to create and subtle heart shape in the design. The horses have black glass eyes as well as a collar of white rhinestones for each steed. The base is decorated in three tear shaped faux pearls that are set beneath a center white square glass stone in the center. The side of one horse is marked with the initials "L.T." which stand for Liza Todd. The back of this piece is signed "Elizabeth Taylor Avon" and the entire piece measures 3" long by 3" wide and comes in the original box with the insert that describes the inspiration and design of this unique item. A great piece created by Mother and Daughter for a love that both women share.
