A gorgeous large Chinese ginger jar which dates to the 1960s. This amazing piece is so unique having a six sided design which is composed of a fine porcelain material that is decorated with lovely flowers in blue, yellow, red, and pink tones. There are also colorful birds perched on the vines. All of this is set within the unique floral trim on the top and bottom of the jar. The background is done in a dark blue color and the lid is made with a similar floral design. The bottom is marked with Chinese symbols which stand for "Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi" which translated means "Great Qing Qianlong Period Make" which dates to the 1960s. This item measures 14" long and is 9" thick by around 7 3/4" wide. This piece is in excellent overall condition having no cracks or chips to the ceramic. A perfect gift for collectors of fine Chinese pottery makes.
