Vintage salt and pepper shakers made by the Meier & Frank Company in 1939 for the World's Fair in Seattle, Washington. Both shakers are composed of a white ceramic base which forms a four sided shaker with five wholes in the top. The tops are covered in a gold glaze and each piece reads "Seattle World's Fair" with an arrow symbol around a globe and symbol the says "Century Exposition" set around the number "21". The salt and pepper shakers both have wooden stoppers on the bottom and one of the shakers has a sticker that is faded but reads "Meier & Frank Co." on the top. Each piece is in excellent condition and both measure 3 1/2" long with the base measuring 1 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide. Amazing collectibles from the '39 World's Fair in Seattle and they can still be used to hold spices.
