Amazing Art Deco era lady lamp. This gorgeous 1920s piece is a German made porcelain lamp with the center being a glazed white porcelain with gold trim as the base. A nude female figure sits on this rugged base and has hand painted work for the body, lips, eyes, and hair. This is set on an openwork brass metal with ornate scroll work around the top and four round knobs on the bottom to stabilize the piece. The wall plug comes out from this base and measures 5' 11" long. The lamp has a long brass metal cord that extends from this section and connects to the light fixture and top that holds the lamp shade. This shade is screwed into place with a brass filigree ball that holds well and the lamp shade is an oval shaped cream colored satin. This shade sets a bit uneven and has a bit of discoloration. The lamp may need a new one but this is the original and other than those few issues it is in great condition. The cord to the plug has one spot with electrical tape covering a small tear in the cords outer material covering the wire but there is no damage to the wire and the lamp works just fine. It turns on by a metal pull string coming out of the light fixture and it even has a 15 watt bulb in good working condition. This lamp measures 17" long with the base being 8 1/2" long by 6" wide. This piece is an amazing Art Deco collectible and works like it were brand new.
