Vintage Farber Bros. New York Krome-Kraft nude lady compote. This piece has a beautiful Art Deco style which makes the piece such a decorative work of art. It is composed of a fine chrome metal base which creates the statuesque nude woman as the stem. The woman is holding the top compote which is an openwork chrome metal design of grapes and vines along the outer edge. The edge also has a scalloped design which adds to the overall quality. The round base is signed on the bottom which reads "Krome-Kraft Farber Bros. New York N.Y." and the entire piece measures 7 1/2" long with the top being about 8" in diameter and 1 1/4" deep. This piece is in excellent condition having no wear to the chrome metal at all. Krome-Kraft pieces were designed 1915 to 1965 when Krome-Kraft ceased operations. This piece was made sometime between 1920 and 1935.
