A superb 1950s five strand faux pearl choker collar necklace. These pieces were very popular during the 1950s and 1960s. They were made for the sweater girls of that era and were worn as collars for such cloths but can also go with casual clothing as well as dress up. The collar is composed of an ivory satin base which has five rows of beautiful faux pearl accents with the center row being a bit larger group of pearls than the outer rows. The collar is fastened with a small silver tone metal hook clasp and the back of the piece has a tag signed "Styled by Marsha Ann Made in Japan". This collar is small measuring 14 3/8" long by 1" wide but an extender can be used to add length to the collar. It is in great overall condition considering the age.
