A pair of figural Raggedy Ann and Andy pendants from Hattie Carnegie. These pendants are some of Hattie's most sought after items being very unique and highly collectible. The Ann pendant has a gold tone metal base covered with enamel accents. Ann has red enamel hair, white enamel eyes, a red nose, and black enamel for the other facial features. She has red and white enamel mittens and a blue shirt under her gold tone metal dress. She wears red striped stockings and green shoes as well. Dangling from the base of this pendant is a gold tone metal chain suspending a heart shaped plaque that is signed "I Love U". When you pull on this heart it makes the arms and legs of both figures move up and down. This adds a great quality to these already interesting pieces of jewelry. Andy has a white sailor's cap and orange enamel hair. Andy has a blue enamel collar and buttons on the gold tone metal overalls that he wears. The mittens have red and white enameling on them and the legs also have red striped stockings and green shoes. The dangling chain and "I Love U" heart allowing the arms and legs to move up and down work perfectly on both Ann and Andy. The back of each piece is signed "Hattie Carnegie" in script lettering within an oval cartouche. Some of the enamel on both figures has been worn a bit but this is normal for the age and other than this minor wear these pieces are in great overall condition. Raggedy Ann and Andy each have a round pendant bail on top of their head's allowing a chain to loop through and they both measure 2" long by 1 3/8" wide with the dangling chain and heart plaque measuring 1 3/8" long when fully extended.
