McClelland Barclay gold and green glass bracelet. This bracelet is a cuff style hinge with two wide gold tone metal bands that show a bit of metal wear on the inside surface. This piece has white rhinestones and green marquise cut stones set in a silver tone metal base. The centerpiece is a mix of swirling strands of white rhinestones mixed in with white baguette cuts and 5 large green marquise cuts. This bracelet is a very special item and great representation of the kind of quality craftsmanship that Barclay put into his jewelry between 1936 and 1943 which were the years he produced costume jewelry before being killed during World War II. The bracelet is signed "McClelland Barclay" on the inside of the top band and the piece is fastened with a push release clasp which has been replaced. The replacement is a 1/20 12K Gold Filled tab that works very well. The tab is signed "1/20 12K G.F." on the front. The bracelet is all original other than the clasp as well. It measures 8 3/8" in circumference and has a 2" long by 2 3/8" wide inner opening for the wrist. Other than the slight wear to the gold tone metal this bracelet is in fantastic condition and comes with a safety chain for added security.
