Vintage Hattie Carnegie lions theme bracelet designed by Kenneth Jay Lane. This bracelet is quite remarkable being made up of a gold tone metal foundation that forms a hinged white enamel lion heads figural design. The design and mark suggest that this bracelet was created sometime in the 1960s when Kenneth Jay Lane was working for Hattie Carnegie. The top band has two lion heads that are holding a center large baroque faux pearl. The entire bracelet is covered in white enamel and has glass inlays running up the lion's back as well as on each side of the arms which hold the center baroque faux pearl. The glass inlays on the back are in red, green, and blue tones. There are also red and green glass inlays which surround a center faux pearl under the lion's arms. The bracelet has a great push release clasp that holds very well and the signature "Hattie Carnegie" on an oval cartouche inside the top band. This bracelet measures 10" in circumference and is 2" in diameter for the inner opening. This item is also in excellent condition having no missing pieces or wear to the enameling.
