Rare Hattie Carnegie Art Deco sunburst earrings. These beauties are some of the first pieces of jewelry that Hattie ever made being signed with the first Hattie signature used; the rare "H.C." hallmark. That is not all as the earrings are flared in a design that looks like a edelweiss flower or sunburst design. The earrings are centered by a prong set oval cut blue glass stone that sits within the flawless sterling silver metal. The back of these earrings are again signed "H.C." within a diamond cartouche and the signature "Sterling" is also on the back inside a rectangle cartouche. The earrings have unique ornate clips with floral designs and the inside of each clip is signed "Ster. Pat. 1967965" which dates each earring to 1934. These earrings each measure 1 1/4" long by 1 1/4" wide with the blue glass pieces measuring 1/2" in diameter. These earrings are excellent being some of the rarest pieces of Hattie jewelry ever made as well as some of her only Art Deco era jewelry known of. They would make a great gift and look fantastic when worn.
