A piece of vintage Hattie Carnegie Egyptian Revival jewelry. This item is made into a very special Egyptian symbol. This necklace is composed of a pendant made into an ankh symbol. The ankh in Egyptian culture symbolizes life and fertility. The necklace is made up of a fine chain of thick gold tone metal rings that is also decorated with two accents on each side in blue and turquoise colored plastic. The pendant is composed of gold tone metal into the form of an ankh with blue and turquoise colored enamel. In the center tear shaped section of the ankh is a coral colored plastic accent that rounds out this spectacular symbol. The back of the ankh has a pin and locking "C" clasp allowing it to serve as a brooch as well. The pendant bail is at the very top of the piece and the signature "Hattie Carnegie" is within a small oval cartouche. The necklace measures 24" long with the pendant being 3 3/4" long by 2 1/16" in width. This item has no wear and is a very unique and rare piece of Egyptian Revival jewelry from the Hattie Carnegie line.
