A very special set of vintage Coro costume jewelry from the 1940s. This set is composed of a pin/brooch and matching earrings of Victor the Horse. The brooch has Victor surrounded by a special array of flowers with pink and green enamel to accent the floral arrangement. Victor is made up of gold vermeil and has black and red enameled features. The eye is made up of a light blue marquise cut glass stone and the ears are two pink marquise cuts. The back is signed "Coro" and the pin measures 2" long by 7/8" wide. The earrings are screw backs and have the same enamel and glass stone accents only on a smaller scale. The earrings are signed "Coro" on the back of each screw and they both measure 1" in length. This set has absolutely no damage and this set was made by Coro designer Adolph Katz in 1948.
