Trifari lucite jelly belly fly pin. This item is the large Trifari jelly belly fly that is clean as a whistle. This fly is one of the highly sought after jelly belly pieces that were designed by Alfred Philippe in the 1940s. This one is made up of gold tone vermeil over sterling silver metal that is covered in pave set white rhinestones on the upper body and top wings. The eyes are made of two red glass beads and the center body is a half circle clear lucite jelly belly. The back is signed "Trifari Sterling" as well as "Des Pat No 137200" dating the pin to 1944. This item measures 1 3/8" long by 1 5/8" wide and has no missing stones and only a tad bit of wear to the gold tone vermeil from the aging process.
