Hattie Carnegie rajah elephant pin. This item is made with beautiful accents to form a rajah elephant carrying a howdah or canopy that sits on it's back. This item is made up of a gold tone brushed metal foundation that has rhinestone accents. The elephants headdress has two large bezel set rhinestones as well as a bezel set rhinestone eye. The draping over the elephants back has a line of pave set white rhinestones with one prong set white rhinestone in the very center of the gold plated metal setting. The elephant's body is made up of a rootbeer colored thermoplastic which contrasts so well with the gold plated metal foundation. The howdah has two rows of pave set white rhinestones with one large prong set white rhinestone on top of the canopy. In the center of this howdah is a large imitation pearl that measures 6mm in diameter. The back of this pin has the signature "Hattie Carnegie" within an oval cartouche and this item measures 2 1/8" long by 1 7/8" wide. This piece is in very good condition for age, having no missing rhinestones or scratches.
