A spectacular piece of gold tone metal Trifari jewelry from the 1940s. The pin is great having a gold vermeil over a sterling silver foundation which makes up a very regal looking pin. This pin is regal as it looks as though it were made for a king or queen. The pin has sections of pave set white rhinestones along with green and blue baguette gemstones, red pear cuts, and a green triangular cut stone. These mix with red and blue glass cabochons and a lovely green oval brilliant cut gemstone set at the top of the pin. This item has a nice pin and clasp that holds well and is signed on the back reading "Trifari Sterling" and the patent number "Des. Pat. 142,658". This dates the piece to June 22nd, 1945. The pin measures 3" long by 1 5/8" wide and has no missing rhinestones or wear to the metal. A fantastic piece of Trifari jewelry from the Jewels of Tanjore collection.
